Overview
The HX-RD-DESKTOP-01 is a dual-frequency desktop reader covering both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz tags. It enumerates as a USB virtual COM port, so no driver installation is required on Windows — the tag UID is output directly as keyboard emulation or via serial commands.
It is the simplest way to add RFID reading to an existing PC-based application such as membership registration, access control enrolment or point-of-sale.
