Overview

The HX-RD-HANDHELD-02 is a portable UHF RFID reader built for mobile inventory work. Running Android 11 with a 5.5-inch touch screen, it reads EPC Gen2 tags at up to 8 metres and supports both bulk scanning and single-tag search with a distance-based signal indicator.

With IP65 sealing and an 8000 mAh removable battery, it is designed for full-shift use in warehouses, yards and farm environments.

Q: Does it work with our existing UHF ear tags? A: If your tags use UHF EPC Gen2, yes. Note that ISO 11784 FDX-B ear tags operate at 134.2 kHz and require an LF reader instead — ask us about our LF handheld model.
